This scientific conference is a central result of the projet in 2016. It gathered 46 participants from 20 different countries. Keynote address was presented by Ed Casey, one of the leading philosophers in the world on the issue of borders and hospitality from Stony Brook Universtity New York. The main topic of the conference was th relation between borders and hospitality in ontoligical, epistemological, ethical and political sense, with the mode of "debordering" as a way of transgressing the imagined boundaries in our life-worlds. In the programme board of the conference were Lenart Škof (head of the programme committee), Nadja Furlan Štante and Tomaž Grušovnik.

In the programme board of the conference were, among others, internationally renowned theologians and philosophers John D. Caputo in Kevin Hart. This conference, dedicated to the question of peace, was the main result of this project in its first half. It has gathered 37 participants from 14 countries. Keynote and plenary address were held by Clemens Sedmak (King's College) and Eduardo Mendieta (Stony Brook, NY). The conference was entirely dedicated to the peaceful coexistence, as discussed from the intercultural and interreligious (Europe, Christianity Islamic world, Asia) and broader "poetic" point of view - with literary, aesthetic and environmental/ecological views of our living together.

This volume was edited by Škof and Grušovnik and has 12 chapters dealing with issues from (non)violence to hospitality, in their ethical, political, intercultural, interreligious and sociological and feminist views. This volume is a result of an intensive project seminar which was held in Koper between 2013 and 2015. It is the first Slovenian edited monograph dedicated to issues of (non)violence and hospitality in such a framework.

COBISS.SI-ID: 283863040A member of our project group Dr Tamara Ditrich has edited this monograph on historical, methodlogical as well as contemporary issues in the studies of mindfulness. In this book another member of our project team (Nadja Furlan Stante) has also published her paper. This book is th first systematic account on mindfulness and Buddhist theories of intersubjectivity in Slovenia. And apart from this, Dr Helena Motoh (also a member of our team) is editor-in-chief of Poligrafi journal.

The series Philosophy in Dialogue is publishing monographs and collections of essays that contribute importantly to scholarship in philosophy as related to key global challenges. By emphasizing the dialogical nature of philosophy and including many interdisciplinary perspectives (theology, law, psychology, anthropology, educational sciences) the series aims to address the scope of issues related (but not limited) to global justice and globalization, multiculturalism, dialogue, reconciliation, democracy, the role of religion in politics and public sphere, public policy, social injustices and exclusions, inter-religious dialogue, the justification and content of human rights, human dignity and responsibility, foundations of European culture, the nature of moral judgments, etc.
