Cartilage lesions have a high impact on quality of life. The greater emphasis on physical activity in all age groups is responsible for the growing rate of these lesions, which are caused by trauma, overuse, or favored by several other factors. Recently, the osteochondral scaffolds were introduced into surgical treatment for large chondral lesions in knee jount. The cadaveric study showed that fibrin glue notably improved collagen-hydroxyapatite osteochondral scaffold fixation and integrity, which contributes to earlier and better rehabilitation after surgical treatment.
