I reviewed most important results on meson spectroscopy from different lattice QCD collaborations. The emphasis was on the interesting states near thresholds, like the recently discovered charged Zc. I also reviewed the pioneering attempts to extract the strong decay widths of various mesonic resonances from lattice.
