The invented method and device for the implementation of textual context window improves efficiency of computer assisted writing. The textual context window shows the current and previously applied words surrounded by a selected number of neighboring words. During the inputting and editing of a text, real-time contexts of just inserted words is shown. New word, determined by a specified number of characters separated by a space, is shown in the context window, either as it was typed or with its grammatical forms. Short words can be excluded from the context by a small number of specified word's characters. The proposed methodology enables an instant view of all, already written contexts of a word, which can significantly improve efficiency and quality of writing.

COBISS.SI-ID: 26599975The invented method and device for non-invasive real-time control of inner body temperature variables during therapeutic cooling or heating use computer simulations, machine learning and control techniques. The invention refers to a method and device that enable control of inner body temperatures according to different therapeutic protocols. The technical problem that the invention solves is the control of inner body temperatures (hidden temperatures) that are difficult or impossible to be measured. In that context, a predictive model is used to estimate (predict) the values of the controlled inner temperature variables based on smaller number of other variables whose measurement is more feasible, i.e. temperatures on the body surface. However, simulations are usually resource and time consuming. The predictive model is constructed using advanced methods for data analytics to capture the correlation between the hidden variable and the measurable ones in data resulting from preliminary computer simulation of the system for different input simulation parameters.

The workshop took place at Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI), Jamova 39, Ljubljana, Slovenia on September 25, 2014. It was an excellent opportunity for direct contacts with leading HPC and Embedded Architecture policy makers in Europe. The workshop integrated Slovenian researchers, industrial users and providers into the EU HPC and Embedded Architecture community. It was organized as a single day session with presentations of HiPEAC and Slovenian experts related to the state-of-the art developments in hardware and software technology.
