In short presentations importance our research project and how it is integrated into the work of Hunting reserve of national importance Capricorn Kamnik was explained to leading personel. We presented the importance of proper sampling of rumen content and its effects on the value of our results. The fact that we are establishing a plant database which allows direct tracking of wild ruminants’ diet based on the collection of fecal samples was well accepted and we were asked to prepare a note for Slovenian hunting journal.
B.06 Other
University of Innsbruck selected the application of assoc. prof. dr. Blaž Stres from among 30 EU wide applications for a two month visiting professor position. A course titled Molecular Microbial Ecology Data Analysis, 2015S718913 VU, 5 ECTS, was given for students enrolled in doctoral studies of Biology at the University of Innsbruck including examinations. Overall, research was conducted for more than 3 months.
