Direct PCR-Ribotyping of Clostridium difficile

Organizing the congresses and workshop

ESCMID international workshop on Clostridium difficile European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) as as an expert and research association organizes annual events including courses and workshops. Between September 2nd and 4th 2015, international workshop entitled 'C. difficile: practical aspects of diagnostics, typing and comparative genomics' was organized by NLZOH in cooperation with MF UM and AGES (Austria). The list of speakers included M. Wilcox (UK), E. Kuijper (NL), F. Barbut (FR), P. Spigaglia (IT), E. Nagy (HU), F. Allerberger (AT), A. Indra (AT), S. Janežič (SI) and M. Rupnik (SI). There were 16 participants from 13 countries. 6th congress of the Slovenian Microbiological Society Members of the project group co-organized the 6th congress of the Slovenian Microbiological Society held between September 24th and 26th 2014 in Bled, Slovenia. The organization committee president was Matjaž Ocepek, while Maja Rupnik and Mateja Pate were members of the organization/program committee. Maja Rupnik was invited speaker (Clostridium difficile and news regarding the infections). Darja Kušar and Matjaž Ocepek edited the abstract book. 5th International Clostridium difficile Symposium 2015 Project group members Maja Rupnik and Sandra Janežič were abstract book editors and organization committee members of the 5th International Clostridium difficile Symposium 2015 held in Bled, Slovenia, during May 19th-21st 2015. 7th congress of the Slovenian Microbiological Society Project group members co-organized the 7th congress of the Slovenian Microbiological Society held between September 20th and 22th 2017 in Bled, Slovenia. Matjaž Ocepek, Darja Kušar and Maja Rupnik were organization/program committee members. Maja Rupnik was invited speaker (From Clostridium to microbiota with NGS). Darja Kušar co-edited the abstract book.
