COBISS.SI-ID: 57906786The project team member Helena Motoh has edited a special issue of the scientific journal Poligrafi, which was devoted to intercultural dialogues in the field of religious studies. This special issue represents an important contribution to the popularization of intercultural studies in this field and their introduction to a wider academic readership in Slovenia and abroad. It also shed light upon different models of the relation between tradition and modernity. In this framework, the Modern Confucian research in a revival of the Chinese spiritual tradition was given a prominent position. The edited volume of the journal has also illuminated various general methodological problems connected to different categorizations of philosophical concepts and questions which arose in different non-Western traditions, aiming to raise awareness of these problems in the scholarly circles of Western academia.
