The use of small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) analytical technique was presented on the international conference entitled »1st European Conference on Smart Inorganic Polymers«, which was organized in the frame of COST Action CM 1302: European Network on Smart Inorganic Polymers. SAXS is very useful method for investigation of the structural changes functionalized polymer materials in the sub-nanometer.

COBISS.SI-ID: 18151190On the Japanese-European Workshop endorsement by EPNOE on the field of cellulose and functional polysaccharides, the review of novelties on the field of functionalization of different materials' research was presented. The lecture was important, because the EPNOE is continuing its efforts for bringing together academic and industrial scientists. Moreover, EPNOE scientists have been deeply involved in the effective preparation of project proposals following the first calls of the new Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme of the European Commission.

COBISS.SI-ID: 18180886In this study, a template-free synthesis of ZSM-5, containing sodium water glass as a source of silicon and sodium aluminate as a source of aluminum was presented. The synthesis was performed in Teflon-lined autoclaves at different temperatures. The influence of the gel forming method, time of aging, crystallization time and temperature on the shape and particle size distribution of the crystals was investigated. XRD, SEM, XRF and DLS methods were used. A well-crystalline product with an optimal molar ratio of Na2O/SiO2 was synthesized depending on the desired molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3.
