The results of the project were presented in different international and national conferences. In this case the interactions of the proteins expressed during the project measured using surface plasmon resonance were presented in the Slovenian microbiological society conference with international participation.
B.03 Paper at an international scientific conference
COBISS.SI-ID: 4438863In this case we presented the model that was used to fed some of the data obtained in the project. A systems biology approach was adopted for the purpose of modelling complex biological processes in order to understand the mechanisms and dynamics involved in potato plant defense following the infection with potato virus Y (PVY).The prior knowledge from literature was expanded with information on the viral and plant component interactions, protein-protein interactions and protein-DNA interactions
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 3900239National Institute of Biology co-organized from 31 May to 3rd June 2016 the conference of the Virolgy section of the European Association for potato research, together with the 8th meeting of the PVYwide organization. The Institute for Chemistry organized annual minisymposium on Molecular Interactions and Structural Biology, where the project results are disseminated.
B.01 Organiser of a scientific meeting
COBISS.SI-ID: 297294848The obtained knowledge has also been extended to the pedagogic work, both in undergraduate and postgraduate students, as most of the Slovene researchers in the project are included in study programs of the University of Ljubljana, University of Nova Gorica, and Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School being responsible for subjects, lecturers and/or mentors
D.10 Educational activities
COBISS.SI-ID: 1537637827Researchers at NIB and KI gave several interviews both for TV and radio, collaborated in preparation of two TV shows and several other events for science popularization (Plant Fascination day, Night of the Scientists, Science Festival).
