- Recipes for high-strength concretes from materials available in Slovenia were derived and mechanical and rheological properties of such concretes were determined. - Research in the field of earthquake engineering resulted in the analysis of seismic resistance of typical steel structures in Slovenia. - Development of numerical methods for nonlinear analysis of structures enables better assessment of safety of structures in normal conditions of use as well as in seismic or fire conditions. - Original analytical method for the assessment of the rotation capacity of steel connections is applicable in everyday engineering practice. - New knowledge acquired in research activities is successfully used in the process of introduction of common European Eurocode standards on the design and execution of structures in Slovenia. - Very important is the work on the determination of mechanical properties of material from the landslides Stovže and Slano blato and the contribution to the repair of major landslides in Slovenia.
