The basic requirements are now fulfilled. Nevertheless, the further research in the field is oriented towards improvements of many particularities that have not be toroughly enaugh investigated in formr periods. It is worth to mention that Slovenia has developed a system that is, in some instances, copied within Europe (Spain, Portugal). 2. The group participated also in the planning process on the State level (The Strategy of the Physical Development of R Slovenia, Physical Plan of R Slovenia). There was a considerably important (important from the scientific point of view) collaboration with some local authorities (Agricultural Plan for Komenda Municipality and The Developmental Program for the Horticultural Production - Municipality of Nova Gorica). 3. The transfer of the research work directly to the university education is common practice for years. The graduation thesis (MLA degree as well as PhD) are normally part of the research work. In many instances also diploma theses reach a publishing quality and do represent important findings or developments.
