The researchers working on this program published their results in the most important scientific journals (Physical Review Letters (3 articles), Europhysics Letters (3), Applied Physics Letters (4), Physical Review (16) and Macromolecules (1)) what indicate high level of research. The most important breakthrough was achieved in the field of relaxors, where with experiments and with new theoretical model (Prof. R. Pirc) an important step was made in understanding of the statics and dynamics of these systems. Very important achievement is the measurement of quasistatic and frequency dependent electric conductivity in oriented DNA, which temperature dependence follows Arrhenius law or is connected with the hopping hole mechanism. The studies of the glass like dynamics in with the electron irradiated P(VDF-TrFE) copolymer and the deposition of AgCl in the human dentin represent the applied research. The researchers working on this program in this way contribute to the world treasury of knowledge and represent Slovenian science. The high sensitive calorimeter, which enables the measurements of Cp of solid materials and liquids, was built in our laboratory, and belongs to the best calorimeters in the world. With this apparatus it will be possible to make high quality research in this field.
