Final report

Based on geometrically very demanding model of TRIGA reactor we have prepared its benchmark. With this benchmark we could analyse the cores with fresh and partially burned fuel. This TRIGA model is unique. Analyses had been expanded to precise threedimensional model of the TRIGA reactor spent fuel pit, where we have - again as first - analysed the importance of fuel burnup with regard to spent fuel pit safety. Burnup credit was - up till now - only taken into account when dealing with power reactors. TRIGA model had also enabled us to perform a very detailed study of concrete shield activation. Within the scope of WLUP project (WIMS Library Update Project), which was partially financed by IAEA) we prepared and verified a new crossection library. With sensitivity and uncertainty analyses of nuclear data, be it for fisson or fusion problems, we had participated with development, verification and implementation of a multidimensional deterministic program package for abovementioned analyses.
