Biography
Peter Glavič, Prof Emeritus at the University of Maribor (UM); he earned his PhD in Chemistry. He held managerial positions in industry for 9 years. He was Professor of Chemical Engineering at UM. His research focused on process systems engineering, sustainable development, and education. He was a Member of the Slovenian Parliament, vice-rector, and president of the Slovenian Academy of Engineering, and a head of Centre for professor emeriti and retired professors at the UM. He published more than 120 scientific articles, has more than 2300 citations and the h-index of 23.
