Biography
I am an Assistant Professor of Dermatology, MD, PhD, clinician and researcher, and an elected Board Member of the Dermatology Section of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) for the 2026–2028 term.
My clinical and research work focuses on chronic spontaneous and inducible urticaria, cold-induced anaphylaxis, angioedema, and contact allergy. I work at the University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic Diseases Golnik, Slovenia, where I combine patient care, clinical research, and international collaboration.
My international work includes collaborations with the GA²LEN Urticaria Centers of Reference and Excellence and Angioedema Centers of Reference and Excellence (UCARE/ACARE), the Chronic Urticaria Registry (CURE), EAACI, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the European Society of Contact Dermatitis (ESCD).
I initiated and led the UCARE COLD-CE study on cold urticaria and contribute to international task forces on chronic urticaria (EAACI), contact dermatitis (EADV), skin ageing (EADV), and metal implant allergy (ESCD).
