After graduating from high school, I graduated in 1987 at the 1st level of mechanical engineering studies, and then in 2014 at the2nd mechanical engineering studies. During this time, I was active in many Slovenian companies, where I worked as a designer, development technologist, project manager and director. I continued my studies at the INDUSTRIAL AND PRODUCT DESIGN master's study program, and I graduated it in 2016. I upgraded my knowledge and competencies at the doctoral study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Maribor, and I graduated it with a doctoral dissertation entitled Methodology of electric guitar engineering based on acoustic response material. I published the results of my research work in the form of three original scientific articles in world-renowned journals with the impact factor JCR and an independent chapter in a scientific monograph. In my doctoral dissertation and related research work, I investigated the influence of the material and shape of the body of an electric guitar, starting from the assumption that the material properties of a full body to dampen string oscillations to an extent perceptible to the listener. Through experimental analyzes and numerical simulations, I presented the influence of material and body shape on the produced sound of the guitar, on the basis of which I then defined the relevant design recommendations.
