Opis
Javno podjetje Elektro Ljubljana, d.d. izvaja gospodarsko javno službo oskrbe odjemalcev z električno energijo. Vlada Republike Slovenije je z "Uredbo o načinu izvajanja gospodarskih javnih služb s področja distribucije električne energije" (Ur.l.št.54/2000) javno podjetje Elektro Ljubljana, d.d. potrdila kot javno podjetje, ustanovljeno za opravljanje distribucije električne energije, pri čemer mora opravljati na istem območju tudi javno službo dobave električne energije tarifnim odjemalcem. S sklepom o določitvi upravljavcev distribucijskih omrežij električne energije v Republiki Sloveniji je vlada določila javno podjetje Elektro Ljubljana, d.d. tudi za upravljavca distribucijskega omrežja električne energije na določenem območju.
