Povzetek
Joint Program for Sustainability Leadership - "PoSsibLe"The wider objective of the project "PoSsibLe" is to improve manager’s and leader’s performance and sustainability actions through enhancing their leadership skills and abilities to innovate, collaborate and manage change. The target group consists of: - managers working in local, national and governmental bodies, the private and non-profit sector, and are willing to make a difference and integrate strategies for sustainability in their organisations;- students who have interest and plans to work as key players in project management and organisational development environments, where broader issues of societal development are important. The project "PoSsibLe" is innovative because the joint program for Sustainability Leadership will be tailored, developed and implemented to the needs and expectations of managers and leaders, and will increase the quality of higher education, combining high level of excellence and attractiveness. The topic chosen is very attractive and there is a great need for current and prospective managers and leaders to expand their knowledge and understanding of sustainability and adapt their behavior and decision-making. The joint program will stimulate and encourage students to initiate national and international projects, businesses or organisations with the purpose of working toward sustainable development. The students of the joint program will be future promoters of sustainability, and will have the opportunity to cultivate and re-create an environment that has the capacity to stimulate continuous improvement on a broad front. The major aim of the project "PoSsibLe" is to jointly develop and implement program for sustainability leadership, which will address key issues in sustainability, and will enhance the ability of leaders to innovate, collaborate and catalyze change, creating sustainable organisations and societies. The joint program will be developed based on the needs of managers and leaders, research evidence and principles of sustainability leadership, sustainability standards and SDGs requirements. Throughout the Joint Program for Sustainability Leadership they will develop advanced leaderships skills and practices, ground theoretical approaches in practice facilitated by distinguished affiliates, receive professional orientation by providing meaningful application of the learning in their orgranisations, network with peer from other countries and working together on sustainability projects. The second aim of the project is to develop learning environment, online courses, webinars, which will offer flexibility and will be adapted according to learning preferences of students. The project is also oriented towards training of academic staff, on relevant topics in education and sustainability leadership. Successful realisation of the project activities will provide integrated joint program for sustainability leadership to be developed, implemented and evaluated. Courses in the program will be taught using contemporary teaching methods, such as problem based learning, game based learning, case study method, etc. The joint program will be organized using blended learning concept – a combination of traditional and e-learning concepts. Indicator of progress will be improvement of sustainability leadership skills and competences of students participating in the joint program. Also, it is anticipated improvement of their work performance and engagement in sustainability projects and developing sustainable organisations. Project results and lessons learned will be disseminated using several medias: web portal, internet, social media, engineering networks, publications, events, open days, conferences, etc.
