Povzetek
Trends in the fashion sector is characterized by:- Oversupply of skilled and motivated people who can’t be absorbed by creative industries companies.- Self-organized employment more driven by communal needs than by the imperatives of the market and consumer culture.- Consumer demand oriented toward more ethical fashion items.- Generalized creative social production that firms see as a free resource, without having to give much back in return.Our project will support and empower the dissemination of knowledge, skills and practices between self-managed workforce, universities and traditional fashion manufacturer, in order to create an alternative-learning environment as triangle of knowledge from which all should benefit.It’ll connect precarious workers in new workforce, empower them in a innovative way to act as small, sustainable enterprises. Companies' needs will be dealt with through the knowledge from universities and executed by students, transferring knowledge into practical solutions.Universities will obtain new possibilities in research fields, providing more comprehensive knowledge to students. Web portal will enable developed community to provide:- Sharing knowledge and skills Top-down permanent education and horizontal practices will be mixed to meet the diverse needs of current production practices and know-hows.- Access to a database of socially produced resources.- Provision of services and communication to support local and online market.- Benefiting from a unified brand strategy providing the cultural background and shared values for internal commitment and external promotion.The platform will consist of three main tools:I. Open-source brand, which will promote the values of the target group and provide consistency and commitment to a normally dispersed and fragmented workforce.II. Innovative web applicationsIII. Bridging activities - events will be organized to gather partners, civil society community networks and consumers.
