Povzetek

This project aims to provide participants with understanding of agricultural industry overall and build awareness of challenges and opportunities for modern work in rural areas. This project also gives participants with an opportunity to get the knowledge and develop skills to achieve competencies that will enhance their employment prospects in the future as farmers of veterinary doctors. Students will also visit small business entities that work as companies in the sector. Through this process, students will gain extensive understanding of how these businesses can be valuable option for them by offering distinctive services and experiences. Ultimately, the students will be able to learn much more about the development of such services and products. This area is almost non-existent in the curriculums in the secondary vocational schools in our country. Partner organization is the Slovenian secondary Agricultural school from Novo Mesto. The school operates as secondary school center. In addition to the school for catering and tourism, the complex also includes the secondary agricultural school that has farming land, orchards, cows farm, juice factory, restaurant as well as stables with purebred horses. All this makes the school unique and famous in the region since it can provide exceptionally quality and complementary training. Our students, accompanied with several teachers will be able to experience the manner in which their vocation is perceived in a western European country and the in which business is organized in this economy branch!
