Povzetek
GBM project of Vocational School from Čakovec marks the beginning of the School's implementation of its Development Plan and Internationalisation Strategy. International connections with educational institutions, even more with business entities with which we intend to exchange experience and gain ever new insight into new technologies, are the basis of quality education. In the project GBM Vocational School is connected with 9 foreign partners. They are: Dionisos Agricultura Biologica from Spain, SODR w Modliszewicach from Poland, a winery from Portugal, Istituto per la Formazione, l'Occupazione e la Mobilita from Italy, Sans Frontiers Europe from Malta, and Ocean Orchids, Počitek-Užitek, a winery and Biotechnical Centre Naklo from Slovenia. Only one of the partners is an educational institution, so the emphasis is on establishing connections with economic sector. With the continuation of cooperation with long-time partners, as well as with inclusion of new partners and focusing on cooperation with economic sector we implement the principles stated in our Internationalisation Strategy.Our partners will enable 60 students to do their vocational training, and 20 teachers to do their professional training, as specified by Internationalisation Strategy for the year 2016. The mobility of students and teachers implements the principle of excellence stated in our Internationalisation Strategy. “Through international activities Vocational School endeavours:- to enable students to gain professional and personal knowledge, skills and competences which will enable them to be equally competitive in the European and global labour markets.- to enable teachers and expert associates to gain insight into education systems of other countries and to have the opportunity of permanent education in acquiring new technologies and applying them in teaching.“The project application was done according to the interest expressed in a poll conducted among the future participants and according to the needs determined by the Erasmus+ project team. Students of final grades and the ones who already completed their education will participate in mobilities. We specified eight one-month mobilities for those who completed thir education, according to the interest expressed in the poll. Twenty teachers will also participate in mobilities. The focus is on improving language competences with the aim of including a bigger number of teachers into international cooperation, especially in activities concerning hosting foreign students at vocational training for which there is a growing interest on the part of our foreign partners. Professional training will also be in the field of vocational courses to enhance teachers' vocational qualifications. Teachers' mobility enhances our organisation capacities for preparation and implementation of projects. Mobility plan according to the receiving partners:Ocean Orchids will receive 4 groups of 3/4 students at vocational training. They will be accompanied by 4 teachers. Ocean Orchids will also host 2 groups of 3 students – assistant florists (special needs students). They will be accompanied by 2 teachers.Počitek-Užitek will host students – florists at vocational training. 6 students in 2 groups will attend the training for a month, and 4 students will attend it for 2 weeks. They will be accompanied by 2 teachers, flower arranging experts. Each of the two teachers will spend a month there.We organised vocational training for agricultural technicians in the field of viticulture at 3 partners due to the greatest interest in that field because we come from a wine-growing region.Dionisos Agricultura Biologica will host 6 students who will attend a two-week vocational training. 1 teacher will accompany them.Quinta da Plansel will receive 4 students who will attend a two-week vocational training.
