Povzetek
The twin transition toward a digital and climate-neutral economy is fundamentally reshaping labour markets across the European
Union. These transformations pose both opportunities and complex challenges for workers, employers, and policymakers, requiring
well-functioning, inclusive, and forward-looking social dialogue to ensure that the transition is fair, effective, and economically viable.
GREEN-DIGI responds directly to this by strengthening the institutional and strategic capacity of social partners - employers’
organisations and trade unions - in four EU Member States. Through a comprehensive programme of transnational cooperation,
capacity building, and policy co-creation, the project will empower social partners to co-govern the green and digital transitions and
more effectively contribute to EU and national policymaking.
Key activities include analytical research, focus groups, a cross-country survey of employers, study visits, national workshops, and the
development of practical outputs such as guidelines for collective bargaining in the twin transition and policy recommendations for
governments and EU institutions.
The project directly supports the objectives of the call by:
• Modernising social dialogue and collective bargaining practices;
• Enhancing the capacity of social partners to address digitalisation and decarbonisation;
• Promoting the implementation of EU-level autonomous agreements
• Contributing to the objectives of the European Pillar of Social Rights and the European Green Deal.
The expected outcomes include stronger, better-informed social partners; enhanced integration of green and digital topics in social
dialogue; improved policy coherence between national and EU levels; and the development of practices transferable across Member
States. GREEN-DIGI brings clear European added value by promoting mutual learning, cross-border trust, and durable cooperation in
support of a just, inclusive, and future-ready labour market.
