Abstract
Based on the hydro geothermal map of Serbia, great resources of geothermal waters can be found in Jablanica and Pcinja districts. According to the available data, the following drill holes (sources) of geothermal waters belong to the group of medium temperature waters, and are thus suitable for use: SIJARINSKA SPA, drill hole B-4 flow 30-33 l/s, 75-780C, BUJANOVACKA SPA flow 7 l/s and 430C VRANJSKA SPA; ?) Flow 44 l/s and 850C; b) Flow 6 l/s and 900C; c) Flow 21 l/s and 980C; d) Flow 27 l/s and 1110C. In cooperation with the Government of Austria, Centre for development of Jablanica and Pcinja districts has initiated opening and exploitation of a new drill hole in Leskovac. There is a drill hole of geothermal waters of B-4 temperature of about 780C with the water flow of around 33 l/s in Sijarinska Spa near Medvedja. 4, 4 l of gas come to one litre of water. If we take this drill hole as an example drill hole and geothermal water, the following benefits can be seen: v Heat energy v Accompanying gas which can be used for industrial purposes v Therapeutic purposes v Geothermal water can be used as mineral water (tests should be done) v Deposit can be used for industrial purposes Perform analysis of all sources of geothermal waters, and new drill holes if realized, and give recommendations for the use of each source, resolve the problem of deposit creation during the transport of GTW and design concrete plant for the use of one of the listed resources.
