Abstract
Global subject of study in this project is the concept of energy supply (hot water for heating, sanitary hot water and electricity) of settlements, using renewable energy sources –biomass, together with measures for energy efficiency improvement of consumers - buildings. Goal is development of small heating plant on biomass (chips pellet). To increase the energy efficiency of buildings the reconstruction of existing buildings will be considered, and construction elements will be defined for the design of new buildings. Special attention would be devoted to the development of active facades of buildings with all the elements (constructive elements and heating and cooling elements). In order to provide central monitoring and control, automation and networking of all systems will be done. Expected results of the project are the development of large hot-water biomass boilers power from 500 kW to 2 MW with all the necessary equipment for storing and dosage of fuel, and equipment for drainage and storage of ashes. Within the scope of heating plant development, equipment for hot-water pipeline will be also developed, as well as supporting automation of boilers and automation of the heating plant operation. Cogeneration of energy would be discussed at the theoretical level for comparison with the adopted solutions. In the buildings would be developed active facade systems, active roof, a system for storing thermal energy as well as systems for buildings cooling and ventilation.
