Abstract
The laboratory scale tests will be performed to determine complementary technology consisted of bioleaching complex sulfide concentrates, hydrometallurgy of bioleach products (bioleach solution and bioleach residue) and technology for continuous production of copper LME A-grade. The bioleaching of polymetallic Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag-Au complex sulfide concentrate will be performed to determine dissolution of sulfide minerals. Alternatively, will be investigated the indirect bioleaching of complex concentrate with bio regenerated Fe (III) solution. Bioleach copper and zinc solution will be added to the collective solution. Acid and salt solutions will be used for bioleach residue dissolution to produce lead carbonate/oxide, silver and gold. The cyanide leach tests will be performed to determine refractory gold in pyrite concentrate and bioleach residue, followed by their biooxidation. Gold extraction will be determined by cyanide/chemical dissolution and smelting of bioleach residue. The physical and chemical treatment, filtration and cementation of impurities (Se, Te) on copper in laboratory electrolyze, for various anode and electrolyte grades, will be determined technology for continuous production copper LME A-grade. Copper will be produced from collective solutions (bioleach solution, tank house effluent streams and mine water) using solvent extraction and electrowinning.
