Abstract
The aim of this research is to reduce loss of platinum in catalytic reactors which operate at atmospheric and high pressure. As a result, the aim of this research includes the following: • Manufacturing and categorization of Pd catalyst-trap for absorption of gaseous platinum metals oxides, with the following operations: - Synthesis of palladium alloys with appropriate alloy elements, categorization of produced alloys and manufacturing of woven or knitted gauze; - Placing of obtained gauze in catalyst reactor and examining its properties as catalyst-trap as well as its influence on basic technological process and process parameters; • Determine platinum loss in reactors for ammonia oxidation with application of Pd catalysts-traps, based on results obtained in industrial researches.
