Abstract
The global production of sheet metal components could be estimated with billions parts per day. On a traditional way processes parameters are set by experiences from previous batches. To improve this situation the project aim will be to introduce innovative solutions for process parameters setting and for internal transportation, prioritizing ecological principles of energy, material and lubricant saving. The first proposed area of research concerns the material's anisotropy influence on friction coefficient in micro scale, as well as sheet's surface roughness influence on actual area of contact surface and expend of lubricant. Both these problems directly influence the amount of drawing force and consequently the energy used for metal forming. The outcome of the second area of research is oriented to introducing mobile robots in intelligent manufacturing systems capable to independently determine their position and position of characteristic objects in the environment, and to generate motion path in accordance with demands of manufacturing processes. Throughout exploitation a mobile robot learns optimal transport paths and sequence of manipulation tasks based on insight into the efficiency of the actions carried out. The most relevant results of research will be made evident through 12 technical inventions, 3 Phd thesis, a monograph and papers in leading international journals(8), at international conferences(8) and in national journals(6).
