Abstract
The problem of fulfilling the requirements of the modern environment lies in the inconsistency of data and carrier of information, lack of integrity of the process, unused potential of human resources and insufficient use of modern ICT. The project goal is to create a general model that will integrate technology and business processes and through the application of modern IT solutions to create conditions for effective collaboration with stakeholders. The research project will include analysis and modeling: process data, parameters obtained by examining the liable parts of brake system, data from the life cycle, their integration through software and business application programs, connecting these modules and modules for managing risk. As a special part of the project a model will be developed for optimal overhaul management and installation of brake system in the Serbian Railways, which increases efficiency and safety of transport. The research includes: model of technological integration and business process and model of information system software for planning, management, control, repair and installation of rail car components with the work relating to the repair of brake systems. By applying the model of integrated processes and information system model is expected to result in: increased security of transport, regulation of business factors, reducing the duration of the repairs cycle, inventory levels and work in progress, cost, resources and cost of products.
