Abstract
The subject of the proposed project will be research in the design of steel, reinforced concrete and timber structures, primarily prefabricated ones, under static and dynamic, i.e. seismic load, by use of the concept of semi-rigid connections, although known but not so far widely applied in practice. Research objectives are verifying the experimental and theoretical settings, defining the importance and role of connections in the calculation of stability of structure, as well as classification of connections. The concept of semi-rigid connections will be applied in designing of frames and plates according to the first and the second order theory, The experimental part of research that is planned will be of particular importance knowing that small number of such tests in the full scale has been performed in our country, even in the world, which include testing of reinforced concrete plates and their connections with other elements of the system. The largest contribution of the proposed project would be in the sphere of practical applicability of research results, including improvement of the domestic specialized software for the structural design in accordance with our regulations, which would be competitive regarding foreign software. In addition, it will be designed innovated more economical and rational reinforced concrete precast structure which will be offered to the market, and which are interested in all the companies participants in the project.
