Abstract
This kind of research which is envisaged for the period after 2011 will undoubtedly give significant results with regard to the places and the ways we use both familiar and new materials, which appear on our market; their advantages and disadvantages which will be investigated and presented to professional and scientific staff in order to enable the best possible utilization, at the same time pointing to the situations in which some of them must be avoided. The project should promote the widest possible use of vegetation: grasses, leguminous, shrubs and trees, with the aim of achieving eco-engineering protection as a natural response to a natural and anthropogenic process of erosion. It will supply the planet with oxygen we all need if we want survive here. Furthermore, it will mitigate the effects of the long-lasting, fatal destruction of forests and other vegetation.
