Geography of Serbia

The subject of the research on the future project Geography of Serbia represents the territory of our country, as well as the dominant processes and phenomena in it. The subject of the research will be divided into three wholes: physical, social and regional geography. Expected results refer to the publishing of scientific-research papers in the national and international journals, national monographs and monographs of international significance, as well as publishing the capital monograph of extreme national significance in the final stage of the project. Throughout the first year, analytical methods are planned to be mainly used in the work, as well as research work in the terrain. Throughout the second year, the activities will mainly be directed to data processing, working on GIS (data base, digital maps, analyses in chemical laboratories, etc.), as well as applying the statistical procedures. In the third year, the focus will be the synthesized frame processing. The fourth year is generally planned for publishing the monograph of capital significance. Defence of several Master dissertations, as well as doctoral theses is also expected. Moreover, at least two international conferences are planned to be organised in Serbia. The aim of the conferences will be the affirmation of the national identity as in the field of some geographical and related disciplines, so in the field of multidisciplinary researches.
