Abstract
On of the most important goals of mankind throughout the history has been to handle and control energy and its different forms. In agriculture, during the last century, the amount of energy in crop and animal husbandry has increased substantially. The aim of this Project is to evaluate and improve new production technologies and techniques for the open filed and greenhouse production, as well as for the animal husbandry concerning the energy efficiency, natural resources (soil, water) quality preservation and agricultural production sustainability and quality. In that sense this Project is supposed to give the improvements in the area of: - tractor-machinery exploitation and energy consumption in the open filed plant production, - irrigation technology and technique for the better water and energy usage regarding the plant ecology and water sources preservation, - greenhouse technology and technique for the higher energy productivity in the sense of lowering the energy consumption, primary for heating, labor and fertilizer usage, - new technical solutions for biomass collecting and preparation, with special regard to biomass from orchards and vineyards, - new technologies and techniques in the milk production for the milk quality and energy productivity improving, - mathematical modeling of agricultural production processes with the possibility of predicting the technical systems usage results and the effect on production quality, quantity and energy efficiency.
