Abstract
The research topics include applications of various methods of nonlinear analysis, operator theory and topology. In part these present a continuation of the research undertaken in previous projects. The research will deal with current problems on fixed points of nonlinear mappings. Many results are expected concerning fixed points of single-valued and multivalued mappings on deterministic and non deterministic spaces. The investigation will be concerned with the spectral theory of linear operators on Banach and Hilbert spaces and operator equations involving ordinary and generalized inverses. Also, a study is planned of special functions, special classes of polynomials and integral transforms, and linear transformations of sequence spaces. The theory of selection principles (and its connections with the game theory, infinitary combinatorics, function spaces, real analysis of asymptotic processes) is an interdisciplinary area of mathematics with important applications.
