Abstract
Societies benefits from balanced regional development, which can only be achieved through althrough understanding of the effects of geospatial transformations. Our project will focus on geospatial components. Understanding of palaeoclimatic and palaeoecological changes preserved in loess-palaeosol sequences as well as geoarchaeological investigations will, beside undoubtedly high scientific value, give the opportunity to determine the initial state of environment. The palaeoecological investigations will gain its usefulness in research of recent environment in sense of defining state of ecosystem before dominant influence of humans. In that manner, numerous negative influences on environment will be determined. Degradation of environment and consequences of unbalanced regional development have various negative effects on transformation of Geospace. Therefore it is important to develop suitable data base and corresponding geographic information system. Special attention will be dedicated identifying acute problems relevant for spatial planning and development which should be the base of future balanced and sustainable regional development. For part of that problems suitable solution will be proposed. Special attention will be put on introducing new methods, involving contemporary methodological procedures, defining new technical solutions, proposals for changing current law regulative and integrating members of project team in the European project network.
