Abstract
The subject of research is to designe parameters for individualization of education process in inclusive teaching and teaching in schools for children with disabilities. Parameters that would form the methodological framework of the Protocol for Assessing the Educational Potentials of Children with Disabilities would be selected based on the analysis of existing assessment models and different factors that determine the child’s strengths and weaknesses in education process. Flexible instrumentarium for assessment, determined by types and levels of disability, would be selected in accordance with the defined methodological framework. The assessment protocol would be applied to a sample of 120 preschool and primary school children with disabilities. Interpretation of results would be based on integration of data obtained during the assessment process and other relevant information, in order to reach a coherent conclusion on the child’s educational potentials. Based on the results, Individual Educational Program would be designed for each child in the sample and conducted during six months. Evaluation of the assessment protocol would be conducted after six months implementation of Individual Educational Programs. A monograph and a Diagnostic Set for Assessing the Educational Potentials of Children with Disabilities would be published based on the research results.
