Abstract
Biomedicine, environmental protection and their organization represent national and worldwide priorities, in terms of both practical and scientific/research domains. In addition, new technologies and social changes represent one of the top priority topics in the field of humanities, whereas biomedicine as one of the new technologies presupposes that various issues have been legally regulated. Furthermore, the field of environmental protection includes development, and thus, regulation of the new (so-called green) technologies. The main objective of the research project is to study, analyze and propose possible solutions for legal regulations, which are directly or indirectly used to regulate the issues concerned with biomedicine, to regulate and protect environment, as well as to ensure compliance with the EU regulations related to these areas, familiarizing students and general public with the new branches of law, medical law and environmental protection law, and promoting their legal regulations. Besides, the objectives of this project would be to enrich and enhance the already existing legal and scientific areas with the content from the realm concerned with the regulation of biomedical issues, environmental regulation and protection effective on the EU level, as well as to introduce new courses and further develop the existing ones at all university levels in order to provide students with the possibility to study and specialize in these areas.
