Biography
Sonja Šljivić, a research associate, was born in 1981 in Belgrade. She graduated from the University of Priština (The Faculty of Philosophy in Kosovska Mitrovica) with a thesis titled “The Orphic and Ontological Aspects in Poetical Works of Vladislav Petković Dis and Branko Miljković”. In 2011 she earned her MA from The Faculty of Philology in Belgrade with a thesis titled “Momčilo Nastasijević’s Poem in the Making”. She completed her PhD in 2020 at The Faculty of Philology in Belgrade with a dissertation titled “Re-figuration of Characters in Radomir Konstantinović’s Prose Works”. She has gained a lot of work experience in different areas – from education and media to literary editing. She was a poetry editor of Eckermann – an online literary magazine. Currently she is one of editorial team members of Raška – a magazine of literature, science and culture. She has published three poetry books as well as one play and was awarded for her essay on Vladislav Petković Dis’ poetry (Dis’ Spring, Čačak, 2009)
