Biography
Dr. sci. Eli Lucheska is a science advisor/professor at the PSI Institute for Old Slavic Culture in Prilep, with a special scientific interest in the field of humanities science, mostly ethnology and folklore. Her subspeciality is the research of the cults of the saints within the Orthodox Christian religion and folk religion. She also did extensive research activities, such as the realisation of fundamental projects, published research papers in journals, monographies, active participation at congresses and conferences, elaboration papers about the cultural heritage, exhibitions, lectures, etc. In the period from 2009 to 2018, she held the position of director of the above-mentioned institute, and from 2015 to 2018, she was the chief editor of the Balcanoslavica.
