Description
Belinka Perkemija, d.o.o. is a member of the Belinka group, which also comprises the following companies: Belinka Holding, d.d., Belinka Belles, d.o.o., Belinka KTM, d.d., and Belinka Kemostik, d.d. The companies produce and market chemicals for industrial and consumer needs. Belinka Perkemija, d.o.o. is also an associate member of Solvay Interox group - the world largest producer of peroxide compounds. Its main products are hydrogen peroxide, sodium perborate and peracetic acid. The latter is marketed under the brand name Persan-S. Along with the products already mentioned Belinka Perkemija also markets carbon dioxide, borax and demineralised water - side products from the production of hydrogen peroxide and sodium perborate. The products find their application in various fields - detergents industry, pulp&paper, textiles, chemicals, food&drug, electronics, medicine, and environmental protection. R&D activities are organised in an R&D unit. The main purpose of Belinka Perkemija’s R&D activities is a documented transfer of customer needs, regulations, standards and technical innovations into its business processes. Chemical Institutes, Universities and other external sources are occasionally drawn into the projects. R&D work is concentrated on the following fields: optimisations in the hydrogen peroxide, sodium perborate and peracetic acid production processes, waste products problems, and modifications of existing products, mainly peroxide compounds, in order to meet changing customer needs. Belinka Perkemija’s R&D meets the requirements of ISO 9001 standard.
