Abstract
Elaboration of a lithium ion rechargeable battery consisting of a carbonaceous anode (graphite, coke), anhydrous liquid electrolyte and lithiated oxide cathode (LiCoO2, LiNiO2 etc.) is envisaged. A special emphasis will be given to the study of the formation mechanism and the role of the passive film on the electrodes. The goal is to reduce the initial capacity losses, to lower the interfacial resistance and to increase the number of cycles.
