Abstract
Dobby and Jacquar woven fabrics made of multicolor threads visualy and in characteristics (resistance, care, treatment) differ from woven fabrics which are dyed or printed. Basic difference come out from the fact that color values depend on constructional parameters of woven fabrics. With certain number of differently colored threads can be achieved limited number of different colors on the woven surface. Opposyte of dyed and printed fabrics, there are not criterions, which can estimate acceptability or un acceptability of certain color. The reason is absence of adequately evaluation of influence of the constructional parameters on color values of woven fabric. Our research project will evaluate the influence of the constructional parameters and set up mathematical relations, which will enable prediction of color values of woven fabrics made od multicolor threads. The regularity of thr mathematical relations will be examined with spectrophotometrical measurements of computer simulations and real woven fabrics. The existance of such algorithm will enable other practical applications.
