Abstract
A new modern copolimeric/hybrid binders suitable for coatings with high content of solids, for waterborne systems as well as for powder coatings will be synthesised and characterised. Further on, we will develop new formulations of the environmentally friendlier low-VOC coating systems for primer and top coats suitable mainly for various spray applications. All newly developed coatings will be characterised in liquid as well as in dry faze as a dry films on a wooden substrates. Emphasis of our research will be on observation of interactions of the new coating systems with various wooden substrates.
