Abstract
Multiple researches of which common goal is to reduce a development of ammonia and odours are usually based on finding a solution in aerobic, anaerobic, biological and chemical treatment of solid and liquid manure and waste waters. Some of them also take in consideration a use of certain additives.
Reduction and even a complete cessation of transformation of nitrogen based substances that are a source of ammonium and ammonia are the properties of biological, chemical and mineral additives.
Common property of them all is a reduction of odours and ammonia in the air.
In our research we are trying to determine an influence of bioenzymatic additive on emissions of ammonia and odours in turkey production.
Our research is focused on effect of the additive applied in a litter on air-quality in poultry breeding facilities, the effect on emission of ammonia out of the building and an effect of the additive on a quality of the litter.
Substances, that are being used as the additives to the litter are: bioenzymatic additive Micropan, mineral additive Montanit (clinoptilolite), Polimix (bentonite, humus’s substance) and Super NN. Their effect on a quality of litter, air an animal production is being observed.
