Abstract
The proposed study is directed towards development of physical modelling based on the two-equation formulation and numerical solutions based on the dual reciprocity boundary element method for solving solid-liquid phase changes in binary systems. It will contribute to improved physical modelling capabilities of melting and solidification processes and improved discrete approximative solution of the relevant coupled set of nonlinear transport equations. Specific upgrades of the proposed fundamental modelling system could be used for solving a broad spectra of solid-liquid processes in nature and technology.
