Abstract
Problems in man-machine communication represent one of the main obstacles for the success of service robots on the markets. We propose to integrate user''s demonstrations, which are captured by a camera system, and explanations, which can be specified in a natural language, to develop an efficient and easy to use programming system. Such an approach takes into account the properties of a human information processing system and enables also unskilled users to teach and program robots.
