Tatjana Balažic Bulc is assistant professor in the Department of Slavistics at Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. She teaches Croatian language, also in contrast to Serbian, Bosnian and Montenegrin, and South Slavic Societies and Cultures. Her fields of research are sociolinguistics, critical discourse analysis, discourse analysis with special emphasize on academic discourse, and foreign language acquisition in closely related languages on the bases of contrastive and corpus linguistics. She has published several papers, two monographies and edited two monographies on these topics.
