Infrastructure for Technology Enhanced Learning in Serbia

The focus of this project is on technological, organizational, administrative and social aspects of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) in Serbia. Up to now, all efforts and activities in this area have been isolated and have achieved no major impact. The main objective of this project is to clearly define, categorize, and enhance these infrastructure aspects of TEL in Serbia in accordance with the established EU standards in TEL. The context for evaluating, researching and enhancing the aforementioned aspects includes: 1. educational institutions (primary schools, high schools, and universities) and corporate educational centers in Serbia 2. government institutions that regulate the educational process in Serbia 3. several important European and national projects, as well as the efforts of the research teams that are involved with these projects 4. experiences acquired by national and foreign software companies The project is supposed to achieve the following results: 1. a clear perspective on the possibilities that TEL provides concerning education at all levels, including workplace education and life-long learning 2. integration of creative research potential with industry and government institutions for the purpose of achieving better quality and accessibility of education by applying new technologies in all regions of Serbia 3. a clearly defined and verified, modern and stable TEL infrastructure that interconnects participants across Serbia
