European integrations and social and economic changes in Serbian economy on the way to the EU

Subjects of this research are European integrations and social and economical changes in Serbian economy on the way to the EU. This research is of interdisciplinary character. The focus of the research is directed towards economic aspects of integration of Serbia in the EU. Political dimension would be considered, as well as all necessary regulatory reforms, building up of appropriate legal infrastructure and raising administrative capacities of Serbia. The goal of the project is to provide quality for developing the program of measures and activities, based on theoretical and empirical research, which would ensure that Serbia fulfills all requirements and meets criteria for the admission to the EU. Results of the research would be presented at scientific conferences and published in the form of monographs, articles and collections of papers according to which an insight into the degree of the development of Serbian economy would be possible of faster convergence of the Serbian economy towards standards defined for the admission to the EU. Results of the research in this project would provide reliable basis for shaping up a vision regarding economic, legal and political perspective of Serbia on its way to the EU. Results of the research would contribute to more effective process of decision making in the state, faster and more efficient implementation of further economic and social reforms according to criteria, requirements, standards and rules defined by the EU.
