Serbian and European Law - Comparation and Harmonization

Main activities of the project are focused on analyzing the European law and the legal system of Serbia and measures for their harmonization. Special attention shall be paid to presenting experiences of other countries that have undergone the EU accession process. Key research areas shall include the EU Environmental law, cooperation in the field of judiciary and fundamental rights and information systems and media. The decisions of the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights shall be analyzed separately. Finally, special attention shall be paid to the field of European criminal law, including issues such as drug abuse and fight against corruption. The key expected outcomes of the project are acceleration of the EU integration process and enhancement of comprehensiveness of the Serbian legal system.
