Abstract
Research subject for this project is analysis of utilization and application abilities of multimodal biometric systems in establishing efficient and effective identity management system through electronic identity. Identity management system can be defined as “Integrated system of business processes, sets of rules and technologies that provide the ability to organization to establish and manage access privileges to critical resources, with prevention of unauthorized access". Research aim is determining abilities and limitations of available multimodal biometric systems in establishing automated identity management system. Based on analytical and empiric research in scientific, technical, financial an organizational domain, concrete conclusions and recommendations on using multimodal biometric systems in identity management will be reached. We will focus on specifics of identity management systems on national level as well as on corporation level. For our participant, Energoprojekt Holding ltd., a majority of its market value is consisted out of knowledge and experience accumulated during decades of successful business. They instated a system for intellectual capital management and require a proper protection. According to their requirements we will develop an identity management system based on electronic identity through fingerprint, face and voice recognition and integrate it with existing systems.
